Martin Larkin

Martin (Murt/Rigs) Larkin 10th June, 1982- 16th April, 2013

Murt was the best brother in the world & a great friend to his younger brother Shane & sister Claudia. He was a loving father to his son Cormac & daughter Leona. His parents Pauline & Martin also thought the world of him, as did his many friends and relatives and also his brothers in the Devil's Disciples M. C.

He was always the life of the party, loved a good wind-up and slagging match -which he would always win. He had a big personality which was only equalled by his big heart - he always had a soft spot for people less fortunate than himself. He had been working on an offshore oil rig (Buchan Alpha) in the North Sea as an instrumentation calibration technician and was due to start his first contract working for himself (Larkin Oil & Gas Services - the call came the day after the accident). He had 8 wonderful years with the love of his life "Aoife" to whom he got engaged in December.

He was taken from us on Tuesday April 16th, 2013, He has left us a lifetime of memories and shown us how life should be lived. There aren't enough words to say how much he meant to us or how much we will miss him. He will never be forgotten and will stay in our hearts forever young. Let us not mourn his loss but be thankful that we had him in our lives. To the world he was one person but to us he was the world.
