James Killian

James KillianOur dad, James (Jimmy) Killian was a great man for the chats and the stories... he could make friends anywhere, and rarely went anywhere in the country (or the world!), without bumping into someone he knew. He loved a good story and everyone knew he always had to tell the long version of the story, entertaining everyone with all the details!

He was always eager to help anyone with a favour, a job or anything he could do to help.
He was a great Dad to us and fantastic husband to Mam, his wife of 35 years, Kathleen who he sadly lost in 2010. After she died, he found his passion for bikes again, and made a close circle of biker friends with Ballymahon Bikers and BackBone MCC - he loved the spins on a Sunday and was a great supporter of the charity bike runs, and organised his own charity runs for Longford Hospice.

James passed peacefully on 3rd November 2017, reunited again with Mam. He is always missed and loved by daughter Martina, sons Enda & Gerry, daughter-in-law Emma, grandson Tom, and the granddaughter he never met, Katherine - she'll always know about her biker grandad in heaven xxx
