Eamon McGurk

Eamon was born beside Newbiliss village in County Monaghan in 1943. He got involved in motorcycles when he went to work as an apprentice mechanic in Clones. He bought an N.S.V Quigley, but it was not very fast so he soon got a B.S.A. 350.

He went to work in England in 1963 and until his death in 1992 he still loved his motorcycles, Eamon was a regular visitor to the TT races in the Isle of Man. He has two sons Eamon and Brian, they too are involved in motorcycles

Eamon was laid to rest in his home parish of Killeevan beside where he was born.

Rest in Peace
