Fr. John Kearns
Fr John was born on 8th November
1957 and was a cherished son, a beloved brother and brother in law,
an adored uncle, a cousin and a friend of many.
Fr John was a Guard for 7 years, a Priest for 34 years, holder of
an Fáinne Óir and a Motorbike Enthusiast for a lifetime.
He was one of the founding members of the 'Gone but Not Forgotten
Bikers' committee and chaplain to this group until he died, a role
he cherished.
Fr John loved people and they in turn loved him and his ever present
smile. He was kind, thoughtful, considerate, humorous and touched
and helped many people quietly throughout his lifetime.
Fr John died on the 20th December
2021 after an 8 year illness which was borne bravely and without complaint.
