Our son Karl lost his life on Sunday Sept 29th 2002 as a result of a bike accident near Shercock, Co. Cavan. Aged 22 years he was a fun loving son who lived life to the full..

Throughout his life he was hardworking, loyal, caring and very popular with everyone from the very young to the very old. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with young family members whom he always kept entertained, (you wouldn't think it from his macho image but he was a real softie at heart!) As a younger lad he played football GAA and Soccer, Pool, Darts, Cards, Fishing etc. all the things young lads get up to, and as he grew older his hobbies turned to cars and bikes. Living life in the fast lane and his love for his bike meant that he spent the long summer evenings and weekends with his biker friends. The other love of his life was his girlfriend Roz; they got engaged just 4 days before he lost his life. He was fun loving and a joyful guy and we miss him so much.
